Whether you’re renting The White Room for the very first time or you’re one of our regular photographers, we know questions pop up from time to time. We love keeping things simple, flexible, and easy, so we rounded up some of the questions we hear most often.

How late can I book?
One of our biggest goals is to be a studio that works around your schedule—not the other way around.
If the studio is available, you can book all the way up until the last minute. Need a space because the weather suddenly changed? Have a client who wants to squeeze in a session this afternoon? We love being able to offer that flexibility whenever possible.
Do I have to make the reservation, or can my client book?
Either option works!
Some photographers prefer to handle all of the booking themselves, while others simply send their clients the booking link and let them reserve the time that works best for everyone.
There isn’t a right or wrong way—just choose the process that fits your business best.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes! We know pets are family too.
Small, well-behaved animals are welcome in the studio. We simply ask that they stay off the furniture and that you clean up after them so the space is fresh and ready for the next photographer and their clients.
How early should I arrive?
Your rental time includes both your setup and cleanup.
If you’d like extra time to move furniture, unload equipment, or prepare for your client, simply book enough time to comfortably fit everything into your reservation. We recommend arriving a few minutes early so you’re ready to begin as soon as your rental starts. There is a built in 15 minutes at the beginning and end of your session.
Is natural light available all day?
Yes! One of the things photographers love most about The White Room is the beautiful natural light throughout the day.
The quality and direction of the light changes as the sun moves, giving photographers a variety of looks during their session. We also have blackout shades if you need more controlled lighting for flash photography.
What types of sessions work well in the studio?

The neutral design makes it easy to create a clean, timeless look that works for just about any style.
Can I move the furniture?
Absolutely!
The furniture is intentionally lightweight and easy to rearrange so you can customize the space for your session. We simply ask that everything is returned to its original location before you leave so the next photographer arrives to a clean, organized studio.
What if I need to change outfits?
No problem!
The studio includes a private bathroom that’s perfect for outfit changes, as well as mirrors to help everyone get camera-ready.
Is there parking?
Yes! Parking is free and conveniently located just outside the studio, making it easy for both photographers and clients to unload gear, strollers, or little ones without a long walk.
